Diploma in X-Ray Technician

Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organization of the Doctor of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well-being of the community at large. IMA aims to promote and advance medical and allied sciences in all their different branches and to promote the improvement of public health and medical education in India. To fulfil their objective IMA launched 2-year Diploma programmes for different paramedical staff which enables us to bridge the gap of skilled professionals in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2019 Learnet Skills received affiliation from the Diploma courses in Dialysis Technician, OT Technician and X-Ray Technician across the country.

Diploma in X-ray Technician – An X-ray technician works in diagnostic centres and hospitals that need to create X-ray images of the body parts using X-ray machines under the supervision of a radiologist.

Key work areas are preparing the X-ray room, machine and patient for the procedure, positioning the patient correctly during the procedure, operating and maintaining an X-ray machine, explaining the procedure to the patient, making reports of the X-ray and keeping a record of the same.
