These programmes are funded by Governments, Employers, and CSR initiatives, ensuring accessibility. In FY23, 90% of trainees excelled in high-demand sectors like construction, tourism, healthcare, and more. LIS holds a noteworthy 10% market share in short-term job-focused training.

Upskilling and Reskilling
Brief yet holistic (20-60 hours) upskilling programmes, complete with assessment and certification. Tailored for both formal and informal sector workers, these programmes facilitate vertical mobility and career progression. With a nominal fee range of INR 1,500 – 5,000, these market-centric programmes have already upskilled 1.3 million individuals, including 36,000 in FY22 and FY23.
Skills for Entrepreneurship
Comprehensive 3 to 6 month programmes nurturing entrepreneurial skills, particularly among women. Aiming to foster job creators, this initiative encompasses domain expertise, soft skills, business facilitation, and mentorship. Operating on innovative financing models like returnable grant systems extended by CSR aggregators, these programmes include the following sub-programmes which makes a significant impact across states.

Skills for Global Mobility
Structured 6 to 12 months training programmes targeting high-paying blue-collar jobs in the Middle East, Australia, and Japan. Salaries range from $400 – $2000 per month. Implemented on fee-per-student and fee-per-employer models, this initiative offers life-changing opportunities for global work experiences. LIS is an empanelled Sending Organization, facilitating technical internships in Japan and has placed over 53 candidates, with more currently in training under various programmes.
Skills at Schools and Colleges
In line with NEP 2020, these are collaborative programmes with schools, colleges, and universities, spanning over 6 months to 3 years. These courses, offered through B2G and B2C models, follow a fee-per-person-trained revenue model. With partnerships in 1,100+ schools across 15 states and 4 Universities, LIS Vocational Skills Development programmes, include the following two sub programmes that provides a transformative educational experience.
